Now we assume the Everything worked out. The Boothelper did the Job as expected, now its time to get rid of him.

Firstly Disable all the necessary services

svcadm disable network/tftp/udp6:default

svcadm disable network/nfs/server:default

svcadm disable network/rpc/bootparams:default

svcadm disable network/rarp:default


Remove the Content

Remove all the Directories you created Remove /etc/ethers and the Bootparams File.


Possible Mistakes...

Check your NFS Exports possibly there is a Mistake, or the Client Configuration went wrong

Bootarchive broken ?

Same procedure as before. ;)

boot from net, wan, cdrom whatever media

run fsck

mount the Disk Read writeable if fsck was succesful.

SINGLE USER MODE  

 

# mount -o rw /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 /a

# bootadm update-archive -R /a

TSM Client asks after Password

Call the Backup Team immediately , possibly its the its the Wrong TSM Server.
